William Wang

I have great passion about English, history, geography, biology, legal studies, global studies and all humanity subjects. Love writing, debating, public speaking and maths. Has been awarded Commendation for 2023 John Locke Institute Global essay competition history essay prize (senior group) as the youngest candidate and attended the awards ceremony in University of Oxford in Sep 2023. I aim to become a famous lawyer in the future and would like to take IB courses in senior high school years if possible.

I am a quick learner, all-rounder for all the subjects, love reading and researching, with great talents and potential as well and have great research and writing skills. I also like music, can play violin, piano and guitar. Current performing at Barker College Symphony Orchestra 1st violin, Barker College Middle school String ensemble 1st violin. I am a great debater and public speaker and represent Barker for CAS and FED A competition in the last two years and would like to contribute as a student leader/debater/public speaker in the Senior school years at The King's school.

I also love fencing and recently achieved Bronze Medal for 2023 NSW U14 Foil competition.

I would like to join the debating team, public speaking team, Model UN team, Da Vinci competition team, robotics team and fencing team plus string ensembles, symphony orchestra etc.

I would like to apply for student leadership roles for Y10-12 as well and represent our school as much as I can in the future if I have the opportunity.

I would like to study LAW/PPE or both for my bachelor degree (ideally from University of Oxford), IB program would be my best option for Y11-12 and I would take efforts to strive for every success and become a great student leader at our school.
