  • As they only BA Tech at First Breath Industries I was away from Mackay three Weeks out of four and organise my own work schedule and liaise with clients on a constant basis.
  • I serviced a lot of compressors for the mines and my mechanical knowledge of them have vastly improved.
  • I was also required to service eyewash stations and fire extinguishers; this would also require phoning up clients and organising keys for buildings and working out what fire extinguishers they needed to be replaced or Hydros so that I could send them an accurate quote and make sure that I had all the equipment that I needed to get the job done.
  • As I was constantly away from Mackay my work ethic had to be at a very high standard as I was in very remote places and couldn’t afford to forget or not be able to fix or repair their equipment.
