ARRC (Advanced Recovery Room Care)

ARRC is a high dependent and acute recovery model, patients are closely monitored for 12-24hours post surgery by a diverse team of specialised doctors, nurses and physiotherapists. Each nurse looks after 1-2 patients to optimise the best post-op care and early intervention of patients' deterioration.

• Provided critical care and perioperative care for post operative patients who are under high risk of post-op complications
• Competent in acute pain management involving anaesthetic, intrathecal, epidural and opioid administration
• Safely administrating medication according to established guidelines while closely monitoring for side effects or adverse reactions requiring intervention.
• Able to early identify signs of deterioration and and take actions by following BLS/ALS.
• Hypotension/hypertension and fluid resuscitation
• Arterial line management
• Venepuncture and cannulation
