Summary

I have been working in the commercial fit-out industry for over 10 years now but recently have been seeking to upskill, I spent most of the 10 years doing many commercial fitouts Australia wide, woking with many companies such as:

DCB - Alexander Interiors (Syd) - Trivision - Cooper Commercial - Kore Joinery - JSE Projects - Q-Shopfitting - Russel Walker constructions - BDM projects - ENIXR Built- Storetec - Farrago interiors and more.

All of these companies were great to work with and we have maintained a great relation with most operators (some no longer in operation or deceased). Over time it came down to who paid the best for the same exact work.

However recently I have tried to be more permanent with companies like BDM and ENIXR, who were both amazing operators, but could not win enough jobs to maintain an income.

My goal for the Future is to find a well established company who would like me to join their team by becoming a permanent member and being shown how the company operates in order to achieve maximum growth for both myself and my employer.

Site Supervisor/Construction Foreman

  • Site foreman in Commercial fit outs
  • Attendance of pre-starts, setting up job sites, outlining tasks and timelines for sub trades, hosting toolbox talks and daily sign in,
  • Managing site safety and implementing strict safety protocols and conducting regular inspections.
  • Resolved issues proactively during construction phases by anticipating potential challenges and developing contingency plans accordingly.
  • Setting out jobs and planning fit out works for either myself or sub-trades
  • Liaised with subcontractors regarding work progress.

  • This job required travel and living away, managing all sub-trades and colleagues with daily tasks and procedures, ensuring site safety for workers and general public
  • Installing all required internal and external walls and cladding, structural steel and concreting, finishes and detailed items.
  • Working with clients, representatives and staff closely to ensure all builds run smooth and efficient without affecting sales.
