PERTH Trial Scoring Matrix Platform

  • Developed a full-stack platform for the PERTH Trial toinvestigate links between microplastic exposure and human health.
  • Built a Python-based data ingestion pipeline to process REDCap dietary recall exports and transform complex clinical datasets into structured, analysis-ready formats.
  • Implemented automated scoring algorithms to calculate dietary microplastic exposure scores based on packaging, preparation methods, and plastic contact touchpoints defined by research dietitians.
  • Designed and integrated a SQL-backed cloud database using Supabase for structured storage and querying of research data.
  • Developed a web application thatenables dietitians to upload datasets, compute exposure scores, and access results without technical expertise.
  • Deployed backend services on Railway andthe frontend interface on Vercel, delivering an accessible, production-ready research tool.
