I am graduate student with a degree in Psychology at the University of Melbourne and am currently seeking to obtain a part-time/full-time job position. My academic journey in psychology has equipped me with a solid theoretical framework and practical skills necessary for addressing complex psychological issues. During my time as a disability support worker and a disability employment consultant in HR, I had the privilege of working closely with individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds, providing them with personalised support tailored to their circumstances. I developed strong communication skills through facilitating open and honest dialogues with clients, fostering trust and rapport essential for effective relationships. I was recently accredited as a mental health first aider and can apply these skills in practise. I have had experience in various volunteer roles as seen below which contributes towards my knowledge in field of mental health and social/community support work. I was recently a Manager at McDonald’s which involved overseeing administration and store operations to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction. I have consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills and have effectively managed payroll, invoices, staff schedules, maintained inventory/stock, etc.
