- The group has diversified interest in textile, cement, metals, carbon black, financial services, insurance, chemicals, fertilizer, insulators etc.
- The objective of the project was effective production planning, inventory management and freight charges reduction.
- In inventory management, aim was to reduce Inventory and thereby reducing Inventory cost, by alternate way of splitting the order of pulp (major raw material) into 1 month that was earlier of 3 months.
- In freight charges reduction, the main objective was to increase the number of boxes in a truck by reorienting the stuffing of boxes inside the truck for better utilization of space and tonnage of existing trucks.

- Cost of battery was reduced by reducing the paste density and performance was observed for that battery.
- It resulted in increased capacity of the battery and also reduced the cost of the battery.
- Solution which was provided was accepted by the company.
