To advise farmers on all agronomic practices to improve the crop production by assisting in developing crop rotation plans, selecting suitable crops based on soil and climate conditions, and optimizing planting schedules to maximize yield of Castor Beans
Conduct farm assessments of the farmers by collecting soil samples and analyzing them to determine nutrient levels, pH balance, soil structure, and other factors affecting crop growth
Use this information to develop soil fertility management plans
To endorse the threat of the plant disease and effectively finding remedies for the disease management including improved soil health, effective usage of chemicals for the disease control
Guide farmers for the implementation of mixed crop farming practices
This approach aims to maintain groundwater levels and soil nutrition, ultimately leading to enhanced agricultural productivity each year
To consolidating and preparing reports based on the field assessments to specifically design recommendations and corrective measures on all agronomic processes to ensure good crop health
Provide tailored recommendations to farmers on various aspects of agricultural production, including soil management, crop selection, planting techniques, irrigation methods, fertilization, and pest control to reduce nutrient deficiency
To examine and make the fertilizer mixture plans and chemical spray plans in accordance with the disease or insect present, according to variety and season
To evaluate crop growth rate, calculates yield potential and comparing these observations with the data provided for the cultivation that is being observed
To provide instructions to the farmers for using the right weed control techniques and chemical to eradicate weed and insects
Organize and conduct training sessions, workshops, and educational programs in the villages of rural north eastern areas of Gujarat for farmers
Share knowledge, best practices, and practical skills to empower farmers and promote continuous learning and improvement
Perform other duties as assigned by the management
