Accomplishments

  • PROJECT NAME: RAINFALL PREDICTION USING MACHINE LEARNING
  • Objective: The work will try to predict the occurrence of rainfall, due to which people who will be directly related to the rain can make best use of the time. Rainfall prediction has lot of benefits across the different sector and among them agriculture and weather department are some who are widely benefited. Such prediction will be useful in agriculture sector and farmers can get best result out of their crops. The prediction of rainfall will also help to be safe from possible natural disasters by giving information ahead of the time.
  • Key Tasks:

· To utilize the machine learning algorithms and secondary data to predict the rainfall

· To analyze the effectiveness of different machine learning algorithm to predict rainfall accurately with the given dataset

· To determine the natural factors which can be related to the occurrence of the rainfall

· To understand the impact seen in the rainfall prediction with use of different dataset, and select the best rainfall prediction system
