Upon starting my university semester I transferred to a casual sales consultant role, in a very fast paced retail environment, showcasing formal event wear working for a brand partner in the MYERs clothing department. Managing the store on my own for full days, I have confident ability in opening and closing sequences, reaching group KPI's and sales targets, stock and retail delivery knowledge, and serving customers in a friendly way to achieve maximum sales. My casual role is heavily focused on achieving positive customer interactions and feedback, asking open ended questions to tailor to their individual needs and questions.

• I have been working at my local newsagents during the school term for a part time income source, enhancing my skills in customer service and retail management. My longest shifts were around 8 hours, so I have a lot of experience working on my feet for extensive periods of time.

• Collaborated with other retail staff to ensure all customer needs were met in a timely manner
• Performed cashier duties in a high-volume retail environment

During my break between university semesters, I undertook a 2IC role working for a brand partner within the MYERs centre, selling formal event wear in a retail setting. I had many responsibilities and expectations whilst working in this role, to which I have proven to excel in, having achieved near perfect mystery shopper and performance review results. Working in an environment with other colleagues much older than myself as a second in charge, I have learnt to have a much more mature and sophisticated approach to my retail interactions, which have proven to exceed exceptional customer service results. I constantly oversaw stock control, deliveries, stock preparation and consolidations, completed store stock takes to manage loss prevention and stock control. I have exceptional standards for visual merchandising and presentation ,having very sound and confident knowledge with strong communication, sales results and continuously striving to succeed in all that I do.

• For the duration of the Royal Show week, I did part time work as a Sales Assistant at Show bag Alley, selling show bags to customers and working with cash, learning how to operate the cash register and tending to the customers’ needs. The work was fast paced and working together with my coworkers and supervisor, worked well together, and built good relationships with the customers and each other.
• Utilized sales techniques and strategies to build customer relationships and close sales.

• On regular weekends, I would assist at the hair salon where my mother worked to gain basic communication knowledge with customers. This included providing for their comfort needs in the salon and hospitality aspects such as making coffees and teas. Although this was not paid work, I partook in it to gain hours for my school volunteering course at the time and out of enjoyment of building friendships with regular customers and the hairdressers following the duration of the course.
