Cinnamon Red Kandy City Hotel Development Project, Kandy, Sri Lanka

USD 120 million hotel construction project with 23 floors, including basement car parks, hotel rooms, restaurants, bars, kitchens, and a rooftop pool.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepared Interim Payment Applications (IPA) and coordinated with consultants for payment certification.
• Managed payment certification for specialized sub-contractors, particularly MEP.
• Certified payments for materials, labor sub-contractors, and other site expenses.
• Collaborated with the project manager, site managers, architect, planning engineer, and other site engineers.

• Experience and knowledge gained through contractor's perspective in the areas such as estimating and tendering, selection of sub-contractors, subcontractor's payments, and assessment of material claims.

• Experience and knowledge gained in both pre contract and post contract stages through consultant's perspective regarding the areas such as Preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Tender Documentation, Tender procedures and evaluation, Contract documentation, Interim valuations, Processing of variations, and Preparation of rate breakdowns.
