Major Project

1. Mechatronics Systems Design (94 HD+)

Gained hands-on experience in this projects in system integration and technical problem-solving, which is the development of a multi-functional robotic arm from scratch.

Mechanical Design:

  • Refining for its mechanical design with the integration of electrical, programming and control components. I have designed and built in a flexible puzzle way, where the prototypes can achieve different results, and performance in terms of heights, position of parts, all in one go.

PID Control and Electrical Wiring:

  • Achieved precise pick-and-place positioning using a closed-loop control system integrated with a PID controller. Implemented motor control, solenoids, PWM speed regulation, voltage regulation, and signal processing techniques such as transfer functions, low-pass filters, shift registers, and phototransistors for enhanced system accuracy and stability.

2. Free Roaming Magnetic Ceiling Robot (86HD)

Gained software terminal based operating system experience, which is a team-based project with the development of Navigation System, Object Detection and Wireless Communication, and Mechanical Body and Gripper Design with Electromagnetic analysis.

Object Detection and Wireless Communication:

  • Implemented this function into the Robot's system, using Raspberry Pi, SSH Wireless setup, with connection to mobile hotspot. Able to detect objects in 3D (X,Y,Z) space for a precise pick and place objects.
  • Software System Implemented: Raspberry Pi OS, PYTHON, Terminal setup programming, SSH connection, External Installation system.
  • Improved camera detected rate with AprilTags from bad angle, lighting, and movement.
  • Control gripper motor and speed based on the data gathered in terms of the object's size, offset position, distance from gripper.
  • Wireless Communication with Navigation System, to navigate to the desire location by avoiding obstacle for object for pick and place.

Volunteering

Video Editor (Freelance)

  • Gained a total of 100K publicity views on project profile. And recruited over 50 members, to execute the events.
  • All Project Drive "Volunteer" Folder - Video.mp4

Cafe Part Timer (Soft-skills)

Kitchen Cook, Lark Coffee Elwood

  • Kitchen Cook, where I need to work well in a fast-paced team and be responsible for any mistake made. Teamwork and communication are crucial in this fast-paced work environment and needs to be detailed-oriented.

Kitchen Cook & Barista, Dock Dot Café

  • Similar roles with Lark Coffee. However, with Barista role, this requires me to communicate more with customers and serve them well for their day. Ability to observe detailed problems and take actions quickly to solve. Be open-minded.
