Vacation Student-Underground Mine Survey
2 Years 11 Months- Setting out and marking up production drill plans ahead of the drill schedule.
- Daily pick up, installing laser and issue memo for drives and turnouts.
- Performing regular cavity monitoring scans (CMS) on the open stopes.
- Drilling set outs and collar pickups in line with the geological requirements for grade control.
- Attending technical and daily production meetings and collaborating with the Mining Engineers (Planning and Production).
Mining Engineer
1 Year 8 Months- Pre-feasibility, Feasibility studies
- Ensure precise and accurate preparation of geological block modelling.
- Solve basic design and application problems in soil and rock engineering.
- Developing detailed mine plans, designs and scheduling short-term.
- Develop and design mine ventilation systems in subsurface projects.
- Develop and design of drilling and blasting optimization.
Mine surveyor

- Serve as central communication contact for mine production and safety.
- Capture, validate and record mine site data, shift and production reports.
- Monitor traffic and heavy equipment through video cameras to ensure efficient use.
- Receive, prepare and relay work orders, messages and information to and from work crews, supervisors and field inspectors.
- Facilitate decision-making for mine management and engineering crews.
- Provide accurate information to ensure informed production decisions.
Field Supervisor
4 Months- Liaising with engineering and project management teams to ensure that project design is accurate before work commences.
