Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Oversee and manage the IT support ticketing system, ensuring user issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support to address a diverse range of technical problems and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, ensuring optimal system performance and accessibility.
Network Maintenance and Monitoring:
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure systems are reliable and accessible.
- Manage and maintain hardware, software, and network infrastructure to achieve high operational performance.
- Collaborate with IT teams to address network-related challenges and implement necessary improvements.
IT Strategy and Operations:
- Develop and execute IT strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and align with organizational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols, performance standards, and industry best practices across all IT systems.
User Account and Device Management:
- Configure and maintain user accounts, access permissions, and profiles in platforms such as Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Azure.
- Support the deployment, configuration, and upkeep of end-user hardware and software.
- Assist in managing IT infrastructure, including workstations, printers, mobile devices, AV systems, and VoIP solutions.
IT Procurement and Asset Management:
- Manage IT purchasing activities, including the procurement of hardware, software, and related technology resources.
- Maintain an up-to-date technology asset register and ensure accurate documentation of IT assets and workflows.
Collaboration and Cross-Departmental Coordination:
- Partner with finance, IT support teams, and other departments to facilitate smooth service delivery for complex tasks and issue resolution.
- Foster cross-departmental collaboration to ensure alignment of IT initiatives with business goals.
Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement:
- Track and analyze IT system and network performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Contribute to the enhancement of IT services and solutions to meet evolving business needs.
Safety and Compliance:
- Support compliance with safety standards, IT security policies, and data protection regulations.
- Promote best practices in IT safety and network security to safeguard organizational assets.
