Pharmacy Student
In my current role at Chemist Warehouse, I have developed strong interpersonal and communication skills through daily interactions with a diverse range of customers. I regularly assist patients in understanding over-the-counter medications, provide product recommendations, and explain the proper use of health and wellness items in a clear and approachable manner. These experiences have strengthened my ability to simplify complex information, actively listen to individual needs, and build trust, among these skills are highly transferable to the PASS Leader role.
Working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment has also taught me to think on my feet, manage time effectively, and work collaboratively with a team. I’ve learned how to adapt my communication style to suit different audiences, which is essential when guiding students with varied learning preferences. My role has shown me how impactful supportive guidance can be, and I hope to bring that same level of encouragement and clarity to students in PASS sessions.
