  • Perform technical procedures including basic and advanced neonatal resuscitation, all aspects of ventilation of the newborn, intravenous cannulation, insertion of peripheral arterial lines, umbilical lines and peripherally inserted central catheters, lumbar puncture, supra-pubic aspiration of urine, endotracheal intubation, insertion of chest drains, exchange transfusion
  • Participate in the first on call roster
  • Participate, plan, lead and monitor the implementation of new practices aimed at improving the quality of care provided within the department, including the development of new guidelines according to best evidence
