I am a Landscape Architecture postgraduate at the University of Western Australia (UWA), where my work was selected for the end-of-term exhibition during the first semester's studio course. With a strong academic background, I earned the UWA Global Excellence Scholarship, recognizing my achievements with a $12,000 annual award.
During During my undergraduate studies in China, I actively participated in physical construction projects for the campus garden and community garden. In design courses, I progressed from initial research to final deliverables, mastering the use of various software tools such as GIS, CAD, SketchUp, PS, AI, and ID. Taking inspiration from traditional Jiangnan classical gardens, I explored the structural intricacies of classical pavilions and corridors, culminating in the creation of detailed models. Leveraging the unique focus of a forestry university, I systematically studied plants, acquiring skills in plant design. Apart from my academic endeavors, I devoted time to volunteer activities. This included participating in the Volunteer Teaching Program, where I provided support to children in mountainous areas, and engaging in initiatives aimed at assisting children with leukemia.
My passion for landscape architecture, coupled with practical experience and a commitment to community service, positions me as a dedicated and capable professional. I am eager to contribute to the field and would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my skills align with your organization's goals.
