  • Obtained knowledge on the exploitation of marine resources for different purposes in Pleistocene Australia
  • Assorting the shell fragments recovered from Boodie Cave (Barrow Island) and Noala Cave (Montebellos) according to the species, weighing them and counting them for each unit
  • Learnt about how the samples can be used to estimate how much marine resources were exploited at a given time
  • Gained insight into the processes, methodology and difficulties regarding archaeological excavations
