- Managing over 150 staff serving 8000 guests across 4 venues and additional pop-up venues.
- An ability to work cohesively with multitude of different ages, cultures, work experiences and personalities, helping to create and maintain a positive and supportive work environment.
- Coordinating between departments across specialised events including weddings, birthday parties, private/corporate functions, to provide the best guest experiences possible.
- Identifying service congestion and issues and implementing solutions in a fast paced dynamic work environment.
- Helping resolve long standing issues with harassment and bullying, mediating with management, staff, union and HR to help alleviate issues without disruption.
- Implementing a mentor program to help upskill team members; encouraging diversification; making rostering more efficient while fostering a sense of growth and achievement previously lacking.
- Identifying team member strengths and weaknesses, helping to build confidence and delegating relevant tasks to help with skill improvement resulting in less burn out and significantly reducing staff turnover.
