With a background in adult nursing from Paisley University in 2002, I pursued a career in treatment room nursing. I furthered my skills by obtaining additional qualifications such as the Asthma Diploma, CHD modules, reproductive and sexual health modules, travel health modules, and COPD Diploma. These credentials opened doors for me, leading to a practice nurse position at the same surgery in 2005. To expand my scope of practice, I completed a Non-medical Prescribing Degree, propelling me into a Nurse Practitioner role within the same doctor's surgery. During my tenure at the doctor's surgery, I developed a passion for aesthetics. In 2009, I completed a foundation course in Botox and Dermal Fillers with Medics Direct. Since then, I have practiced aesthetics at Muirhead Dental Practice and worked as an Aesthetic Practitioner at Therapie Clinic Glasgow. Continuously striving for excellence, I have achieved master-level training in aesthetics and regularly update my skills through training programs with Allergan. Notably, I completed a postgraduate certificate in Facial Anatomy: Dissect and Inject. As an active member of ACE (Aesthetic Complication Expert) and BACN (British Association of Cosmetic Nurses), I am committed to staying informed and continuously enhancing my expertise. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, I registered with Greater Glasgow and Clyde NHS Bank to contribute to healthcare efforts. Since then, I have actively supported hospitals and community placements in the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Keeping active and fit is a passion. I finished my British associate of teachers of dancing (BATD) to Diploma level in 2000. I then went on to teach dance classes at night to children for aprox 12 years, running annual dance shows and exams for the children. Although I do not teach dance anymore due to family commitments, I enjoy taking part in dance and Zumba keep fit classes.
