Started work at Schneider under Recruitment Select on October 3, 2022. Hired to work in Assembly Enclosures and later on have been cross-trained in spray painting Kiosks and a variety of small parts. Working at Schneider has opened a lot of opportunities and skills for manual/physical workplace experience such as;

• Identifying a variety of workplace hazards and risks, with ways to prevent serious injury.
• Being apart of meetings to discuss jobs, health and safety and changes happening all over the worksite.
• Learning new skills that are beneficial both on-site and outside of work.
• Proper training involving electrical equipment, cranes and sharp tools. All of which require filling out a Manual on the correct procedures on using them.
• Working alongside a team to meet quality standards regarding the customers demands.
• Wearing PPE at all times, preventing a risk or a hazard happening to both yourself and others.
• Maintain an organized and clean work areas at all times on job sites.
• Following marked pathways and signs to prevent serious risks from happening.

• Monitored area for pedestrian and vehicular traffic while operating various types of equipment.
• Inspected equipment for defects and performed repairs or maintenance tasks.
• Coordinated with other lift truck drivers and production personnel to process orders efficiently.
• Boosted team performance by moving materials with forklifts, cranes and other equipment.
• Verified functionality of forklifts through performance of preventive maintenance and effective troubleshooting of malfunctions.
• Monitored production schedule to keep proper amount of inventory on hand.
• Use a variety of power tools such as table-saws, drills, angle grinders, reciprocating saws etc.
• Using measurements to square-off many sized chassis, and to create insulated walls for the refrigerator cargo vans.

• Prepared and maintained Airless Spray Painting machines to paint on large/small surface areas of steel.
• Equipping PPE for Sand blast rusty and flakey steel for painting.
• Loading and strapping steel in varying sizes onto trucks in a small team for delivery onto job sites.
• Yard duties such as maintaining a clean environment for passing vehicles, by moving steel into allocated areas free of contact, and moving timbers into it's designated spot.
• Little experience using MIG welding, understand the safety precautions in response to undertaking the task.
• Inspected completed work for adherence to very strict guidelines and highest quality standards.
• Performed maintenance on Forklifts, such as checking oil weekly and greasing.
• On-site labouring, consisting of erecting beams for various buildings, and assisting the trades (Boil Makers).

• Team-Leader for a Drymill production shed. Leading a small team towards production quality and quota under safety guide lines.
• Trained new employees on proper machine operation, safety protocols, and woodworking techniques, improving overall team performance.
• Increased production efficiency by calibrating and maintaining woodworking machinery.
• Adapted quickly to new technologies and software programs used in woodworking processes, increasing overall efficiency within the workshop.
• Reduced waste by implementing efficient woodcutting practices and recycling scrap material.
• Provided constructive feedback during team meetings to improve overall operations and foster a collaborative work environment among colleagues.
