I have worked in a wide variety of Electrical fields, including wiring and commisioning a range of machines, potable water plants and mineral processing equipment over several months last year for Tronox. This was at their new Atlas Site north of Balranald NSW, which is a mineral sands processing plant. I followed all safety procedures and completed work on-time and to a high standard.

I have also worked onsite at Carrapateena Mine in 2021 where we wired and commissioned the Ambulance Safety building and the conveyor sampling building. I also worked on wiring and commisioning the first stage of accommodation buildings before they were delivered to Carrapateena from early last year to mid-late last year, and had the responsibility of ordering and managing stock and overseeing workers to ensure each building had been wired to a high standard.

Locally, I have had experience in a range of work including:

Industrial work such as installing and maintaining packaging shed conveyor systems, winery grape crushing equipment, irrigation pump stations, large scale switchboards, large generator changeover/backup systems, VFD installs and parameter changes, Soft Starters, flow switches and general control wiring.

Civil work including operation of excavators and skidsteers for trenchwork and exposing conduits, installing underground wiring systems such as direct buried cables and conduit. I've been involved in multiple large cable underground pulls with winches and underborers.

Commercial work including office rough ins and fitouts, troubleshooting at multiple local schools and completing electrical add ons at these sites.

Residential work containing rough ins and fit outs of multiple new homes and renovations. Aswell as switchboard upgrades and many small extras such as ceiling fan installs and new lights and powerpoints.

I am qualified and competent in operating a variety EWP's including boom lifts and scissor lifts. I also hold a manual car licence.

I have had first hand experience working at mines and understand the importance procedures and policies at Carrapateena and Tronox, to ensure a safe working environment.

Unloading of trucks and decanting of stock in back warehouse. Was awarded 'Team Leader' role at the end of my first year and had the responsibility of making sure the shifts ran smoothly and everyone knew what job they were doing. I learnt great leadership and teamwork skills and gained entry level experience into the workforce.
