- In my role as a Truck Assembler, I get hands on with the assembly of Mercedes Benz trucks, personally fitting key components like tanks, turntables, rails and air tanks.
- My attention to detail is something I take pride in. I make sure each assembly task meets the high standards of quality performance.
- Working closely with my team, we always go the extra mile to exceed expectations, helping push each other the whole time.

Mowing within a family business

- Working within a family business meant more to me than just completing the tasks, it was about contributing to a shared effort with each other, and always having a collaborative and friendly work environment.
- As a casual mower, my job was to make lawns the best the could be, but beyond just mowing lawns I also cleaned driveways, roof gutters, of course the equipment, ensuring the property always looked its best.
- Interacting with employees was also another big part of the job. I always enjoyed connecting with the clients so I find out exactly what their preferences were to ensure the customer was always happy with the job.

- Working at the fish market was my first taste of what it was like to work a real job. Not only did it provide me knowledge insight that i still use and value to this day, but it also laid the foundation for all my future roles.
- Despite the role only being work experience, I made sure i gained every bit of knowledge I could from my short time there. Simple things like operating the cash register to replenishing stock felt like more than just tasks i was giving. They were hands on experience that gave me my first real taste of job satisfaction.
- This exposure to work gave me a genuine enjoyment and satisfaction from the hard work I put in. It shaped my perspective on what fulfilling work life would be and made me want to continue down this path
