Liner change-out works within the Car Dumper at Cape Lambert using rope access. Includes use of power tools and rigging equipment to remove and install wear liners.

Managed a team of 3 to get JHA and rescue plans in place to carry out safe rope access work. The task was to replace drop netting under conveyor belts. We set up tension lines on the walkway and used lowering systems to safely drop the net to the ground. Then we moved the net to a different conveyor, hauled it up using the same system, and tied it in place using ropes. We also removed and replaced an I-beam on a different job scope.

Blasted and re-sprayed structural I-beams using a conventional spray unit. Set up ropes access systems and ensured safe rigging practices. Monitored team safely and supported work completion as one of three Level 3’s on this shutdown at Brockman 2 (Rio Tinto)

Rope access rigging, mechanical preparation painting at BHP Yandi. Set up and managed rope access systems to remove and replace beams using rigging techniques. Performed mechanical surface preparation (bristle blasting, needle gunning) and applied protective coatings in compliance with BHP standards.

Rope Access work within crusher areas at Gove (Northern Territory). Responsibilities included completing and reviewing required permits and JHA’s, installing and managing rope access systems. Removal and installation of crusher liners using rigging techniques and power tools.
