Volunteered as a Football Training Assistant

Collingwood Football Club

  • Demonstrated initiative by proactively attending Collingwood Football Club open training sessions at AAMI park and offering assistance with the runnings of the training session at AAMI Park over a two week period during the January 2023 school holidays
  • Provided assistance to the Collingwood training staff during Collingwood training sessions by retrieving balls, kicking, handballing to players and coaching staff to assist with the more efficient running of training drills
  • Demonstrated discipline, energy and enthusiasm by consistently turning up voluntarily to assist at training session in a punctual manner and assisting all to the end
  • Was commended by Collingwood training staff as being a young respectful, friendly young person whose willingness to assist with the training sessions highly appreciated and valued by both staff and players. I have subsequently been invited to return and assist at future training sessions during school holiday periods.

Volunteer Food Preparer and Packer

  • Supported those in need by assisting with the safe preparation and packing of over 300 sandwiches to be served to under-privileged people within the Florida community (completed in the USA during family vacation).
  • Demonstrated friendliness and teamwork through meeting a new group of people who were also part of the charity group/initiative and worked through the most efficient way to prepare and deliver the sandwiches within the available timeframe.
  • Skills demonstrated included, keeping workstation organised and equipment clean
  • Calculating the appropriate amount of ingredients required to deliver the number of sandwiches required including the appropriate labelling of food groups
  • Ensured the workstation was cleaned and sanitised upon completion of the food preparation.

Education

Maribyrnong College (AFL Sports Academy) Yr 9 2023, Maribyrnong, VIC


  • Successfully awarded an AFL Sports Academy Scholarship for the duration of Secondary School
  • Have been a student at Maribyrnong College since Year 7 (Yr 9 in 2023)
  • The aim of the Maribyrnong College Football Program is to develop elite Victorian junior football players in their pathway towards TAC, VFL and AFL representation while nurturing the achievement of both strong athletic and academic performance.

A BIT MORE ABOUT ME...

I am a passionate athlete and loyal team player who loves all aspects of football including being part of high performing teams.  I play for Keilor Football Club and have also been selected to represent the EDFL at the Interleague level.  My team is Collingwod and I aspire to play alongside my favorite player Nick Daicos one day   Basketball is my next favorite sport and I follow the Lakers, Lebron James is my favorite player  and I loved the opportunity to see the Lakers play against Miami when we were on a family holiday in 2022.  I love being active and outdoors, spending time with family and good friends and travelling.
