Catholic Out Of School Hours Care – Chisholm Catholic Primary School – Current residence. At Chisholm Catholic Out Of School Hours Care, we run a before and after school care service of three staff and 30+ children each day. We collaborate and work alongside Chisholm Catholic Primary School as we are based on premises. At Chisholm COSHC, we work alongside one another to provide the best possible before and after school care service for our children.

  • At Chisholm COSHC (current residence) some of the things I do and provide are listed below: - I am a mandatory reporter for all children. - Provide active supervision for all children. - Create and set up new activities for our program, to which we work on with the children dur- ing their time at COSHC. - Provide food for all children including breakfast and afternoon tea. - Actively run activities for the children both outdoors and indoors. - Provide care for all our children. - Incident report writing when needed. - Liaising regularly with children’s families and parents. - Liaising with staff to regularly improve our service. - Liase with Chisholm staff, teachers and principals. - Regularly sign off on legal documents. During my time Chisholm Catholic Out Of School Hours Care, I stepped up during term 4 of 2021 to take on the role of Assistant Coordinator and help my staff who also stepped up to take on the role of Coordinator, while Chisholm COSHC’s center coordinator took leave for all term 4. This included taking on extra duties, coordinating together with the acting center coordinator and adding extra hours to my current full-time hours. During this time, I found that I was able to liaise more with Chisholm and the principals. During this time, I got given higher duties and pay for taking on the role of Assistant.
