• Assignments involved in this course aim to develop the measurement skills and acquire an insight into the measurement processes to generate bills of quantities via Buildsoft in accordance with the Australian Standard Method of Measurement 6th Edition, especially regarding groundworks, in situ bored piles and structural steelwork

• The assignment is intended to explore AS4000 and its Annexures so as to understand the details of the construct-only contract, tendering process, various forms of contract-associated documents, relevant rights and responsibilities of the various parties, key dates of the contract, the impact of adjustment and variation to the contract sum and so forth

• The rights and responsibilities of the various parties are critically examined to a standard form of building contract
