I worked in the role of a customer service representative at TSA for approximately 6 months, my time at TSA showed the true meaning of hard work, dedication, empathy and patience. During my time, I handled customer calls and general enquiries, I was able to help people from different cultures, beliefs, backgrounds and ethnicity, applying the TSA ways, respect, empathy, patience, understanding, I was able to effectively apply de-escalating tactics whilst upholding respect for the customer despite the situation, speaking to customer with a clear calm voice and short clear sentences to maintain customer understanding, in order to best serve customers enquires, time management was a fundamental skill that had to be applied with all customer enquiries as a fast paced workplace with hundreds of customers in line waiting to speak to a customer service Representative, being able to understand a customer questions, enquiry or need saved a lot of time for both the customer and Service officer which left more room for other customers to able to receive the help/support they need from the service officer, with everything I’ve described above I believe I possess valuable skills/tactics that I can apply in any workplace to be able to not only achieve customer satisfaction but desired results by any employer or team leader.
Being a part of the Dominos Thornlie team taught me valuable skills and assets such as customer service, communication and interpersonal skills that will help me make a good impact in any company I get the opportunity to work in, I've also learnt kitchen skills alongside with cooking/cleaning & looking after a workplace which ultimately showed/allowed me to know the value, time, effort and hard work that goes on behind closed doors with any company in order for it to progress/function and grow, I believe with the skills I posses and my eagerness to learn & adapt to change effectively and fast will allow me to grow in any workplace and be a valuable asset to any employer and my team.
