Introduction

My name is Zoe and I am currently an ACPII working with QAS and based out of Mitchelton Station in Brisbane Metro North Region. I am writing to you to apply for participation in the Graduate Diploma of Paramedicine specialising in Critical Care. I have been working for QAS for eight years now and has amassed a substantial level of experience and competence during this time. I have always been passionate about learning and have sought after various means of education and self-development while still being employed as an Advanced Care Paramedic with QAS. Due to my passion and continued interest in wellbeing and cognitive neuroscience, I commenced further tertiary education at The University of Queensland studying Psychology in 2019. I found myself caught between two worlds and moving forward, have decided to commit to the world of pre-hospital care. I am seeking to apply for the Graduate Diploma of Paramedicine in order to apply to be a Critical Care Paramedic with QAS. I look forward to participating in a hands on learning experience that will prepare me for the journey forward.
