• Rural and Remote Contracts x3 to NSW and South Australia - working in the following wards Acute general medical in Tweed hospital, Oncology in Lismore base hospital and Acute General Medical in Port Pirie Regional.
• St George Public Hospital sydney - working as a casual RN providing staff to wards who were short and getting to work with a variety of different specialities. I have worked on medical/ surgical wards, oncology/haemotology, renal and gynae and respiratory.
• I have also completed two state contracts in specific nursing wards both for the duration of three months due to shortage in staff and requirement for assistance. One in oncology (Greenslopes Private Hospital, QLD) and another in a Acute Medical and Stroke ward (Sydney Northern Beaches Private Hospital)

• Administered medications and treatment to patients and monitored responses while working with healthcare teams to adjust care plans.
• Advised patients and caregivers of proper wound management, discharge plan objectives, safe medication use, and disease management.
• Working in High pressured environment with minimal resources at times compared to previous hospitals experienced which allows you to broaden your thinking and become resourceful within scope of practice.
• Implemented medication and IV administration, catheter insertion, and patient documentation
• working in various types of wards with patients requiring care for a variety of illness/diseases.

• Gaining knowledge not only in General Medicine but specialities and the care requires for these.

• Experience gained working in the Acute medical assessment unit in Edinburgh's largest hospital, with 56 patient beds within the unit.
• Assessment of patient with numerous presenting issues including cardiac care, diabetic care, toxicological drug and alcohol care, respiratory issues, mental health and neurological presentations.
• Collaborated with interdisciplinary team members to facilitate comprehensive patient-centered care.
• Daily IV insertion and medication administration, venapuncture for blood sample retrieval, catheterisation, wound care, neurological assessment.
• Providing person centred care to patients and their families.

• Accelerated recruitment as a student nurse during the pandemic, working in the acute medical unit prior to obtaining registered nurse roll. Undertaking the same tasks and care provided to patients as stated above.
