• Liaising with other stakeholders in the company, including marketing/subscriptions and working closely with the advertising department to ensure advertising goals were met,

• Sole editorial staff member of Out There, the in-flight publications for regional airlines Rex, Alliance, Air North and Cobham.
• Responsible for editing and producing all four magazines, including commissioning or writing all articles, editing all copy, proofreading, managing budgets and producing covers, liaising with the advertising team and promoting the magazine.

A three-day a week maternity cover, writing the majority of New Idea’s entertainment and celebrity features, as well as real life and health.

• Entertainment, news, lifestyle writer, Kidspot (June 2013 – November 2016)

Several posts a week on everything from parenting issues, lifestyle, health, kids’ activities, celebrity parenting news, travel and sponsored posts.

• Health Editor, New Idea (January 2011 – December 2013)

Producing content for two single health pages per week, editing and writing special projects, mini booklets and tip-ons.

Commissioning and editing news and real-life features, generating content ideas including features and coverlines.

• Acting as the main point of contact between all departments of the magazine and overseeing the day-to-day running of the magazine
• Performing as acting editor for five months while the editor was on maternity leave (during this period the magazine was awarded the MPA for Magazine of the Year).

• Solely producing the travel, celebrity, health and homes sections of the magazine, whether by commissioning freelancers, editing bought articles, or writing features.

• Writing and sub-editing for magazines such as Rolling Stone, Revolver, Australian Good Taste
• Working as the sole publicist at independent record company 301 Records, which involved coming up with creative publicity ideas, servicing new singles to the media, writing bios and press releases and arranging interviews and appearances in TV, press and radio.
