I also assist my fellow apprentices every morning in maintaining the workshop by sweeping floors, emptying bins, refilling rag bins and general tidy-up. Along with the morning clean, I am also responsible for carrying out safety checks of all on-site vehicles, forklifts, hoists and eyewash stations, recording all findings and reporting any potential hazards to be rectified.
