Senior Civil Designer with experience in developing extensive planning and design across multiple projects from Detailed Design, Design and Construct, Preliminary and Planning Design phases for Transport Infrastructure related projects which range from; Rural and Urban Highways/Freeway interchanges to heavily constrained urban roads, intersections, Roundabouts, Busways and Rail/Road interfaces.
Specialist skills in operating design software in 12d, AutoCAD, Infraworks 360, Revizto and Navisworks.
Strong technical capability in the knowledge of Local Government and Standards and Guidelines such as TMR's RPDM and AGRD.
Dependable, honest and works well in a team environment with an eye for detail and strong work ethics to deliver on time.
Senior Civil Designer responsible for the Inner City North Package (ICN). This package area consist of North Quay from Turbot Street through to William Street and Victoria Bridge to George St and Adelaide St Portal Tunnel. This high density brownfield site presented many challenges in developing the alignment design and required considerable collaboration and communication daily between Civil, Structural, Drainage, Landscape Architect and PUP disciplines. This led to utilising Navisworks and Revizto as a 3D Total project model visualisation tool to assist in communicating, checking progress of the design to the wider design team and Contractor partners.
Lead Road Designer responsible for Stage 3 tie-n design from Stage 2. Redesign and optimised tie-in solution to reduce earthwork and property impacts and to provide a design that will future proof a tie-in to Stage 4. This project has proved challenging as there are several constraints.
Provide design support to RFIs and process As-builts. Design amendments to sewer relocation designs and utilities relocations.
Road designer for Zone 100 of E2G. Responsible for developing the Bruce Highway upgrade with 3 intersections. Also interfacing with QR rail that runs along the corridor and rail crossing over Maher Road.
Lead Roads Designer for feasibility design of the Border to Gowrie (B2G) package of Inland Rail. This role involved interfacing and co-ordination with serval rail – road crossings.
Lead Road Design for the interface and light rail cross overs and the Bus Rapid Transit design. Developing a Preliminary Business Case for a mass transit system between Maroochydore and the Sunshine Coast University. AECOM was engaged by Sunshine Coast Council to undertake the engineering design and cost estimate of two potential technology options (LRT and BRT) as part of Council’s wider Preliminary Business Case team.
Role on the project was to develop a Infrawork 360 model importing from 12d models and producing highlights video to showcase for the client.
Role on the project was to develop a Infrawork 360 model importing from 12d models and CAD to produce 3D perspective clips to showcase for the client.
Role on the Project was a Civil Designer, responsible for developing highways and interchange alignment options designed to Austroads and RPDM standards. As part of TMR’s Bruce Highway Planning Project to provide a Project Assessment Framework and Preliminary Evaluation to deliver value to for money from the significant investment in infrastructure projects by assessment of the priority and affordability of the project options and the strategic decision of whether to invest in fully developing a business case.
Civil Designer, responsible for reviewing the existing geometry along the road corridor and working with members from TMR’s Engineering and Technology Department to introduce a dedicated kerbside Bus lane both North and Southbound working within the existing kerb and channel and existing vertical alignment. This involved greater effort in working through the extended design domain and design exception process with TMR.
Lead Civil Designer and Drafter responsible for reviewing existing road corridor and traffic management systems at intersection and design to improve traffic flow.
Lead Civil Designer of intersection upgrade from a roundabout to a signalised intersection. This involved greater design effort through many constraints from PUP, Property boundaries and Koala Habitats.
Intersection improvements and localised widening will cater for future growth projections, improve safety and help to meet MBRC objectives to improve pedestrian and cycling facilities to further encourage the take-up of these active transport modes.
Civil Designer responsible developing the Tender Design for a section of KSD from Theodore street to Riverview Tce. The existing constrained Brownfield site presented many challenges in developing the alignment design and required considerable collaboration and communication daily between Civil, Structural, Marine and PUP disciplines.
Lead Civil Designer and Drafter responsible for reviewing existing road corridor and traffic management systems at intersection and design to improve traffic flow.
