  • Being employed as a senior property stylist by a Sydney company has been a constructive and pinnacle part of my career.
  • Entering a more competitive and fast paced market has broadened my skill set in delivering a service with tighter time constraints and an upscale clientele.
  • Whilst at Maker/Made I have also worked in a temp role as the manager running the logistics, furniture selections and a team of 16 employees.

Interior Designer

MAPLE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCT

  • As the in-house Interior Designer at Maple Design and Construct my role within the company was to engage with clients in their planning stage and take them through the design phase of their residential builds
  • This entailed an initial meeting that gaged the clients wants and needs, followed by a design proposal where the client and I were able to come to a clear understanding of the design we were collaboratively achieving
  • Moving to the selecting stage where I sourced materials for the build and created an overall style and feel for the home
  • I gained great knowledge around sourcing, budgets, restrictions and regulations and time management
  • Our clients were delivered with F, F & E schedules that the team of builders and contractors then worked off to bring the vision to life
  • Working within a fast paced and well-respected building company enhanced my knowledge of design as well as my communication and client relationship skills.

Junior Property Stylist to Senior Stylist and Manager

  • I started my career in design as a junior property stylist at Interior Makeovers
  • Quickly acquiring many skills as a stylist before moving into a more senior position in 2020
  • As a senior stylist my role involved taking on installations and clients from their first site visit and quotation, building a strong relationship that led into the selecting and styling of the property to make sure each client could intrust in the service provided and enable me to showcase the home to its full potential
  • In 2022 I was promoted to a management role that required me to be involved in the logistics of the business and organise the workload, team, sub-contractors, and clients
  • In this role I gained an immense interest in business and how I could improve things by making effective changes.
