Lab Experience

  • Throughout my degree I have had extensive lab experience through practical classes and hosting activities for bioscience students.
  • My lab experience is primarily focused on molecular and microbiology backgrounds. Majoring in systems biology, gene technology and cell tissue and culture. This has introduced me to techniques including recombinant DNA, cancer cell biology and a foundation of bioinformatics.

Communicating as a student voice to improve student programs and provide feedback on an educational level directly with the Program Managers.
  • RMIT Biosciences Society Marketing Team, 1 year, Advertising and creating events for students within Biosciences to find a community in which they can grow and develop as future scientists. Organised lab activities to give insights into the beauty of science, particularly molecular biology.
