Designed and aided in construction of Skate Park in Mitcham City Council

I was asked  to accept this challenge from Council as I had just started by apprenticeship.

As I was very excited about this I commenced the design of the skate park.

I paced out the area with the help of one landscaper from the Council.  Having noted exactly how much land I had to 'play' with I set to work designing the slips and ramps of the park.

A lot of consideration needed to be taken for the safety of the Skate area. 

Having just left school I was an avid skater, so I had a fair knowledge of how to begin the design.

One of the Council 'architects' instructed me in the more difficult areas. 

The park still stands today and I am proud when I go past and see the kids skating.
