• Prepared cost estimates for materials, equipment and labor of project worth $3 million and total area of 1,900sq.m.
• Estimated quantities for concreting, steel reinforcement, brickwork, internal plaster, Tiling and other Building materials.
• Overlooked the execution and supervision of construction activities, finishes and conduits of services like Electrical, Fire fighting and plumbing.
• Co-ordination and Communication between different contractors, Sub-contractors, Vendors and designing agencies and requested for RFI’s wherever required.
• Conducted quality assurance and delivered feedback to team.
• Approved technical drawings and engineering plans for construction and ensured Execution of work as per plans.
• Produced routine field reports, logs and submittals covering site visits and current engineering operations for the client.

• Prepared project summary and lessons learned report of $3 million project for client acting as a guide for next project.
• No major site accidents and work related injuries to any worker on site during my tenure.

Key Responsibilities

• Employed in the site execution team to assist the Site Engineer and Senior Engineer and carried out the following activities on site:
• Supervised and studied site plans and drawings.
• Estimated quantities of concrete, steel, brickwork, internal plaster.
• Checked the quality of materials received on site.
• Directed masons and labors according to the plans making sure execution of work is as per drawings.
• Maintained Daily Progress Report (DPR) and material report.

Key Achievements

• 80% reduction in execution errors on site and Quality issues ensuring quality of highest standard is achieved.
• 100% rectification and elimination of quality issues.
• Was approached and offered a role of Site engineer after the completion of my Bachelor’s degree.
