• Act as a reader/scribe for students during assessments and exams.
• Offer one-on-one tutoring, reinforcing classroom content and aiding comprehension through tailored strategies.
• Monitor student progress and provide ongoing feedback to both students and teaching staff.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes confidence and independence in students.
• Assist with classroom management and organisation to maintain an effective learning environment.
• Participate in extra curricular excursions for Writers Circle
• Provide assist in the Quicksmart program for junior students

Boarding Academic Tutor - Reach for the Stars

• Provide academic tutoring to boarding students with additional learning needs during after-school hours.
• Assist students in setting and achieving academic goals, focusing on individual progress.
• Tailor tutoring sessions to the specific needs of inclusive learning students, ensuring a personalised approach to their academic development.
• Collaborate with boarding house staff and the Inclusive Learning team to track student progress and adjust tutoring strategies as needed.
• Support students in developing effective study habits, time management, and organisational skills.
• Offer emotional support and guidance, creating a nurturing environment to boost student confidence.

Academic Tutor

• Provide one-on-one tutoring for students in Mathematics and English.
• Assist students in understanding and completing assignments, homework tasks, and exam preparation.
• Support students in improving literacy, numeracy, and subject-specific skills through targeted exercises and practice.
• Track and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and suggesting areas for improvement.
• Encourage a positive learning attitude, helping students build self-confidence and independence in their academic journey.
