Hello, I'm Alex. I’m a friendly, passionate and hard-working support worker. I am 28 years old and have been working in the disability industry for approximately 6 years. I have experience working in both 1:1 and group settings, working with both children and adults. Prior to entering the disability industry, I have experience working as a nanny and recreational activity/sport coach within schools and the community.

Having worked in a variety of settings, I have experience working with various disabilities and medical conditions. I also have experience working with allied health professionals and various support plans. These include manual handling, epilepsy, behaviour support, mealtime management, swallowing and PEG feeding.

I have a degree in Health Science, majoring in Psychology and physical activity and Health. Additionally, I have studied 2.5 years of Occupational Therapy (prior to entering the industry). I am compassionate, approachable and easy to get along with. I love getting out and about, spending time with my friends, family and horses.
