I pride myself on my ability to learn fast, take on new skills and cope with change. I work well within a team environment and can handle pressure.   • My role as a case manager to advocate as a health care professional and coordinates and manages the care of individuals, often with chronic illness, or disabilities, to ensure they receive appropriate and effective services.
  • Provide early, timely and personal customer focused and empathetic service to injured workers and employers.
  • Proactively and effectively manage all aspects of caseload of workers compensation claims. Within the legislation and compliance guidelines.
  • Oversee a caseload of workers' compensation claims from inception to resolution. Assess and evaluate claims to determine appropriate actions and resolutions.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for injured employees, medical providers, and legal representatives. Provide timely and accurate information regarding claims status and processes.
  • Ensure and adherence to state federal regulations related to workers' compensation.
  • Stay updated on changes in legislation and best practices.
  • Analyse claim data to identify trends, and areas of improvement. Prepare reports and presentations for management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to facilitate injured employees timely return to work.
  • Provide training and support to junior case managers and staff case management best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Work closely with customer injury management and return to work teams to create comprehensive approach to injury prevention and claims management.
