Summary

Hardworking and Career driven Corporal currently serving in the Australian Army as a Distribution Operator offering fourteen years of expertise in Logistics and Warehousing.


Four of those years have been serving in the defence force where we are taught to thrive in high stress, often dangerous environments.


In this time I have been lucky enough to be deployed on operation's such as Operation Covid Assist (2020) and Operation Griffin Eagle (2021) in America working with the United states Marine Corps.


I am currently posted to Brisbane's Gallipoli Barracks, supervising the Repair Parts Store and its seven junior Soldiers. Together, our troop is responsible for ensuring the correct ordering of repair parts in order to sustain defence's vehicle fleet capability.

Distribution Operator Advanced - RPS CPL

  • As a Repair Parts Store Corporal I am responsible for close supervision of members operating the front counter and work orders as well as providing assistance & development to Junior soldiers where required.


  • In this current Job role I am also required to disseminate any ad hoc taskings to all work Areas under my control & check in with members daily to affirm their individual battle rhythm and responsibilities, and ensure job clarity.


  • My job role primarily utilizes MILIS to effectively order parts, conduct stocktakes, & manage the warehouse by Monitoring Equipment health Report’s. This enables us to track maintenance of equipment and safety of operators utilizing Vehicle’s / Weapons / Stores.

Distribution Operator Advanced - DUF CPL

  • As the DUF Corporal I was in charge of a small team ensuring correct utilisation of Department of defence funds within my unit.
  • This job role was fast paced and required pre-planning, as well as often leaving at a moments notice to procure mission critical assets for the unit.
  • As the job required working with large amounts of money a great deal of auditing and correct recording of invoicing is required.

Squadron Quartermaster / Tech Private

  • Conduct duties of an Operator Supply Private employed within the warehouse. Specifically Undertaking and Assisting in any warehouse tasks that come down from the TECH Sergeant or Corporal.
  • Maintaining an auditable trail of Tech Store paperwork
  • Utilising Correct MILIS screens to be able to Issue, pick, receipt and transfer.
  • Managing / editing batch lot dates for items that need to be rotated or relifed.
  • Running Reports such as Equipment Health & operator maintenance to ensure Weapon and Vehicle compliance.
  • Assist in stocktaking of equipment within the Squadron and main Q-store.

Storeman / Nightfill Assistant

  • Maintain busy warehouse receiving deliveries and unloading trucks using material handling equipment.
  • Break down Delivery load, filter and sort accordingly for nightfill staff to pack.

  • Assist other departments filling stock & handling customer enquiries.
