Summary

My fellowship year in vascular surgery at a major tertiary referral centre has given me the confidence to manage complex patients, developing my clinical skillset of assessment, planning and perioperative management. I have developed my academic interest of cell salvage and teaching. I hope to continue research in this field along with supporting trainees not only as a mentor but one day a supervisor of training with a view to become a primary examiner
