Andrew Mackie

Currently working as the Outbye Service's Coordinator where i am responsible for departmental daily planning and deployment of employees to the appropriate tasks. These tasks include the building and maintenance of all underground roadways once driven, Ensuring the mines waste water is removed from the mine minimising any potential damage to infrastructure and machinery. Our team also works together to problem solve and implement the required improvements as identified. Other Mining Coordinator roles held at Tahmoor Previous to this current role were Development Coordinator, Civils and Mine Rehabilitation Coordinator as part of the Tahmoor South Project. I am happy to provide more detail on these previous roles.

As Project Coordinator, my responsibilities included the daily allocation of resources to ensure that all employees had what they needed to perform their tasks efficiently. I was committed to providing a safe and productive work environment, which involved conducting pre-shift safety meetings to discuss potential hazards and safety protocols with the team. Additionally, I was responsible for assigning shifts to new employees, ensuring they were integrated smoothly into the workflow.

I monitored all contract hazard awareness tools to maintain compliance with safety standards and planned and allocated jobs to employees based on their skills and the needs of the project.

I maintained regular interaction with company management as it allowed me to communicate site needs effectively and align our operations with company policies. Lastly, I ensured that all onsite Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations were adhered to, reinforcing our commitment to employee safety.

My role with CAS Mine Services was to ensure that all employees had a safe and productive workplace and necessary resources available while accommodating company and site needs.
