I have been riding horses for as long as i can remember and competing each weekend in campdrafting, I have worked in retail and for multiple equine trainers since i started high school. i have learnt to deal with difficult people and can work independently. I like to keep my work space tidy and I work hard for what I want.
Working in a retail setting for markets each weekend and throughout the week at Nutrien and NCHA Futrity. this includes waking up early for a 4-6 hour set up of the shop then to work from 8-5, this includes keeping the shop clean, serving and welcoming every customer, dealing with money, stacking clothes, steaming clothes and then 4-5 hour pack up at the end of the day/week. Working for Rustic Lace has made me more confident to be able to talk to strangers and work with sometimes difficult people.
Working with breakers and trained horses leading up to Nutrien and other big events. Have also worked with stallions including handling them whilst other horses are around and riding them.
Turning back, loping, feeding up, washing and cleaning yards are all involved in working with and for Wyatt Young
I worked for cal throughout each school holidays, riding and breaking in breakers and competing trained horses. start at 5am and get home at 9pm from a day of mustering and doing cattle work. From working with Cal i learnt many skills on horses and how to deal with breakers including the breaking in stage.
