I have been involved in 5 Riots at Port Augusta Prison, where I played an active role, as a team member in managing, monitoring and security of Accommodation Units. I have experience in High, Medium, Low Security as well as Program Planning. I have proven myself to always comply with Codes of Conduct and Ethics, and my Integrity and Commitment has never been questioned. I have never had the occasion to justify inappropriate behaviors or actions. As the timeline suggests I am consistently focused on self-improvement and broadening my skills. I have achieved several significant changes whilst at AWP/APC Working and consulting with the Management Team on Institutional and Security matters, Bed space Management and staff position increases. I successfully introduced the booked visit system to assist in Access Control and increased visitor numbers. Currently recognized, Case Management Coordinator, Port Augusta Prison and Adelaide Pre Release Centre 2015, Program Coordinator APC and Vocational Coordinator 2016/17, affiliated with the Industry Manager group managing all off site workgroups ,authored, developed and managed several Community work programs, Umpire Football Program, Amy Gillet Track work crew for females at APC, Fire Fighting partnership with DENWR, including the development of Memorandum of Understanding with DENWR with a budget line to include guaranteed 2 advertised placements to employ Low Security Prisoners employment.
