I am currently an Advanced Trainee in Emergency Medicine trainee in HNELHD, with a total of ten years of experience across a range of specialties between the UK and Australia.
I am hardworking, enthusiastic and effective at working both autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
During my ED training, I have become proficient at managing not only complex patient presentations, but have also developed additional skills in managing patient flow, supervising junior doctors, and liaising with inpatient, community and retrieval services to ensure the safe co-ordination of patient care.
I am currently awaiting the results of my ACEM fellowship OSCE and will be time complete in November 2024.
I have a special interest in medical education, in particular simulation training I continue to participate as an instructor at the JHH Simulation centre and hope to continue to contribute to simulation sessions as a FACEM
I have also been a conjoint lecturer at University of Newcastle since 2023 and greatly enjoy teaching medical students during their critical care rotations
