I completed a Diploma of Aviation through Townsville Helicopters and Tafe Qld. I have been flying full time since February 2023. I am currently seeking the opportunity to fill any current or future position you may have within your organisation. I currently hold a CPL-Helicopter license and have a LLF rating. My license covers both the Robinson R22, R44, R66 and Bell B206L. Although reasonably new to the industry & in the higher age bracket I have a high drive to achieve in the Aviation Industry. Previously over 25 years' experience in the mining industry, 18 years with the one company, operating a range of mining equipment in open cut mines. Experience is broad and ranges from using smaller cutting tools through to large excavators and trucks. This includes but is not limited to Loader, Grader, Dozer, Draglines, Cable Tractors, Rear Dumps, Water Carts, Excavators, Extensive Operator experience has resulted in a detailed understanding of how to identify mechanical issues and conduct basic repairs, including performing pre-starts prior to using machinery and Equipment Servicing.

• Open Cut Plant Operator, Ensham Resources, Emerald, QLD, 01/01/04, 12/31/22, Operating a range of heavy mobile equipment to safely and efficiently perform various mining tasks and meet production targets., Conduct regular inspections on heavy equipment / machinery used, and ensure everything is in working order., Report any defects / operating issues and complete pre-start reports prior to each use, and conduct basic repairs and maintenance work as and when required., Cut and move overburden from pit to uncover coal., Collaborate and work closely with a range of other site workers, including fellow Operators, Contractors, Mine Services, Engineers & Management., Key member of the Fire & Rescue / Road Crash Crew.
