  • Samford Gelato was the first ever job I worked at that incorporated long working hours and more responsibility, in which I was required to develop independence as an employer helping clean up the entirety of the shop by myself including washing and restocking the gelato, deal with rush hour workers without any co-worker assistance and always be prepared to take ownership for any extra chores that needed attending. This was the first job I learned how to make coffee, deal with heavy machinery and be extra cautious with maneuvering around the small shop.
  • Tailored orders to address customer allergies and gluten concerns.
  • Assisted customers with their selections, providing knowledge about the products.
  • Ensured the ice cream serving equipment was properly cleaned and maintained.

  • The Cat Nursery was the first ever employment opportunity I recieved at 14 years old, in which I worked at for a total of three months but was unable to continue due to family reasons. This job helped develop the majority of my cleaning skills in which I, vacuumed, broomed and mopped down sections of the facility. I was also required to switch out equipment used by the cats for safety and sanitary considerations which helped develop my perseverance and patience dealing with cats that were more aggressive.
