As a Filling / Customer Service team member at Big W, i am responsible for ensuring the shelves are properly stocked and organized to provide an excellent shopping experience for customers. I work closely with the store team to receive, unpack, and replenish merchandise, as well as maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the store. My main goal is to ensure that the store is well-stocked, visually appealing, and ready for customers to shop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and unpack merchandise, including checking for accuracy and quality of products.
• Restock shelves with merchandise according to store standards, ensuring proper pricing, labeling, and placement.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the store, including keeping aisles clear of clutter and debris.
• Rotate merchandise to ensure that older items are brought forward and newer items are properly stocked at the back.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth store operations and efficient stock replenishment.
• Assist with stockroom duties, such as organizing and maintaining inventory, as needed.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, safely and efficiently, following all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering customer inquiries, assisting with locating products, and providing assistance as needed.
• Follow all store procedures and policies, including those related to safety, security, and merchandising standards.
• Participate in training programs and continuous learning opportunities to enhance job knowledge and skills.

• Completed a one-month internship in Pakistan’s Aeronautical Complex (KAMRA) During this tenure, I had learned about the types of equipment which are used for various operations in aircrafts and air traffic monitoring equipment’s which are used to carry out the air operations safely and securely.
• The main instruments which I observed and learned during my internship are: MPDR, VSWR Tester, A Digital Analyzer to analyses various parameters of a propagating wave, Electrical Assembly line operations and SMD soldering.
