Throughout this period, I have completed several short-term placements under her Honour's tutelage and mentorship. I have conducted legal research into a wide range of issues, drafted legal documents and proofread material. I have provided administrative and legal assistance in and out of Court.

  • Handling documents lodged and filing accurately
  • Assessing documents lodged in the electronic system for their eligibility for filing
  • Handling and returning exhibits and sensitive material
  • Processing incoming email requests for a wide range of matters
  • Creating hard copy files for in-court use by SC & DC Judicial Officers and ensuring their accuracy

Over the past 8 years I have worked as an Australian Rules Football Field Umpire in a variety of leagues I have been umpiring football since I was 14 years old as a continual hobby As an umpire, my key responsibilities are:

  • Staying attuned to administration requirementsArriving at a set, negotiated time before the commencement of a match
  • Initiating and conducing match reviews to discuss decisions and feedback
  • Acting with integrity and fairness at all times
  • Mentoring and coaching new umpires
  • Maintaining a safe environment for players, parents and administrators
  • Taking action against any act which is detrimental to the game.
